Innis & Gunn
Spearheading the barrel-ageing movement from Scotland, The Original bourbon barrel-aged beer is the one that started Innis & Gunn when Master Brewer Dougal Gunn Sharp founded the brewery in 2003. The brewery has grown since then to be one of Scotland’s most successful international craft brewers, exporting to over 35 countries. The Original continues to be Innis & Gunn’s flagship beer, alongside Innis & Gunn Lager which is the No.1 craft lager in Scotland and the No. 4 Premium lager in Scotland.
Since I&G’s creation in 2003, they’ve been busy brewing up an ever-growing range of flavour packed beers to join The Original and The Lager including summer favourites like Passionfruit Pale Ale and Mango IPA as well as their core IPA portfolio of Session IPA and Gunnpowder IPA.
Innis & Gunn has grown to become one of the UK’s most successful international craft beer businesses. They are the No.2 craft beer in the UK off-trade, No.1 imported craft beer in Canada, and in the top 3 imported craft beers in Sweden and the US.
The Innis & Gunn Brewery in Perth is their home for innovation and barrel-ageing, and work is in motion to build a new large scale 400 hectolitre brewery in their hometown of Edinburgh in the next two years, the first new large brewery to be built in the capital in 150 years, to meet exploding domestic and international demand for their beers.
Winning over fifty awards, Innis & Gunn beers are renowned for quality at home and internationally including Gold in the Scottish Beer Awards and prestigious Monde Selection. 2019 saw Innis & Gunn win Gold and Silver in the New York International Beer Awards, and take home the accolade of Scottish Brewery of
the Year.
