A brief history of Inverarity Morton.
1945
Wm Morton Ltd is established – owned by William Morton in Glasgow until 1959.
1959
Company bought by Sandy Bulloch and traded in Polmadie until 1974.
1974
Sold to Ricky Agnew and moved to Bishopbriggs.
1976
Bought back by Sandy Bulloch and moved to Pollokshaws in 1977 where it merged with Classic Wines, John Grant ( Blenders ) and A Bulloch Agencies.
2005
Stephen Russell appointed as Managing Director.
2011
Wm Morton Ltd buys Inverarity Vaults Ltd.
February 2012
The company is rebranded Inverarity Morton.
October 2012
Buyout of spirits merchant, LA Wholesale.
October 2013
Acquisition of Forth Wines.
September 2015
Glasgow HQ moves to new and bigger premises.
