Engaging our Supply Chain
Mapping and engaging our global supplier network on a collective journey towards a net zero future.
Naturally, our business model relies on an expansive supplier network, from our global wine, beer and spirit suppliers to our wide network of freight and logistics transport suppliers and third-party operators and as we begin to undertake our carbon footprint measurement, we fully expect the vast majority of our carbon emissions to lie within this supply chain network (known as Scope 3 emissions).
Over the next 24 months, we will map our supplier network emissions against an understanding of where key suppliers are on their own ESG journey, allowing us the focus to collaborate in order to reduce our value chain emissions over time.
We know that this will be a long process but look forward to getting started and taking industry-level guidance to inform us along the way.
We also know from our own experience, that multiple small changes can amount to make a big difference and we aim to use our knowledge and influence to proactively inspire, encourage and support our supply network, to realise our collective ability to deliver tangible positive change by lowering our collective emissions together.
