Statement Aim

This statement outlines the actions taken by Inverarity Morton to identify and address instances of modern slavery within the company and our supply chain.

Policy Scope

This policy applies to all sites and remote workers of Inverarity Morton.

Our commitments

We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery within our operations and supply chain.
We conduct rigorous employment checks including eligibility to work in the UK.
We provide “awareness” training to all new employees to raise visibility and knowledge of modern slavery training throughout the business.
Train relevant managers in our modern slavery commitments and also to have accountability in implementing these commitments within their relevant areas.
We encourage our co-workers to raise any concerns they may have regarding modern slavery or human trafficking.
We compile an annual report measuring effectiveness of modern slavery policy within the organisation.
We partner with our supply chain to ensure adherence to these commitments throughout our supply chain.
We designate a modern slavery champion to continually promote awareness through company-wide communications on the subject.

Chocolate Box

Blaxland Vineyards was formed in 1995 and over the next eight years developed a number of vineyards in order to supply premium grapes for most major Australian wine companies. Blaxland now manages four vineyards in three of Australia’s prominent grape growing regions (Barossa, Adelaide Hills and Limestone Coast) totalling nearly 600 hectares, with both regional and varietal grape diversification covering 12 red and 5 white varieties. Katie Jones

Katie Jones is a familiar presence at our #explorewine tastings and we’ve sold her wines for over 5 years. Originally from Leicestershire, Katie uprooted and moved to the Languedoc nearly 20 years ago. She set up her own winery, Domaine Jones, in 2009 after uncovering a vineyard two years previous. Katie now owns 12 hectares of vines spread across vineyards in Maury, Paziols and Tuchan and her wines capture the essence of the region.

Sea Change

‘Sea Change’ is a range of ethically sourced, environmentally conscious wines that support ocean conservation through direct partnerships with key ocean and marine focused charities. The support is by way of a monetary donation from every bottle of Sea Change sold going directly to the chosen charity partners. The range has been designed with minimal packaging in mind to reduce potential waste and to maximise its environmental credentials. Choose from crisp Chardonnay, juicy Negroamaro or classic Prosecco.
