Explore. Taste. Love. 2025: Inside Inverarity Morton’s Wine Tasting in Edinburgh

Last week, we raised a glass not only to world-class wines but to 80 years of Inverarity Morton at EXPLORE. TASTE. LOVE. 2025—our biggest celebration yet.

Held in the heart of Edinburgh at the elegant Assembly Rooms, this year’s annual tasting event brought together over 60 global wine producers and 350+ wines from 24 countries, offering guests an unforgettable journey through the world of wine.

Our Biggest Year Yet

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s event showed a 12.5% increase in attendance from 2024, making it our most successful and well-attended wine tasting to date.

Whether guests were seasoned sommeliers or enthusiastic explorers, the energy in the room was electric. And it wasn’t just about the wines (though there were plenty to taste!). We crafted a full-bodied experience to engage and inspire.

Interactive Experiences That Stole the Show:

Spanish Food & Wine Pairing Masterclasses

With dishes created by PIGGS Edinburgh, and wine pairings provided by Bodegas Campillo, and Bodegas Granbazan, our Spanish masterclasses offered a delicious deep dive into Spain’s most flavourful pairings, with each sip and bite curated to perfection.

Live Wine Panel – Vineyard Voices

Vineyard Voices featured insightful discussions from some of our longest-standing producer partners, including Javier Paredes from Torreon de Paredes, Andrea Tavares from Quinta de Chocapalha, Samuele Botter from Botter Wines, and Sebastián Goyenechea from Bodega Goyenechea, sharing vineyard stories, global perspectives, and behind-the-scenes magic.

Perrier-Jouët Champagne Masterclasses

An elegant showcase of French artistry that captivated from the first pour. Guests were treated to two of Perrier-Jouët’s most distinguished cuvées: the iconic Belle Époque, known for its delicate floral finesse and signature anemone motif, and the radiant Blanc de Blancs, a pure expression of Chardonnay’s vibrant elegance. Together, they offered a sparkling journey through the house’s timeless style and craftsmanship.

Throughout the day, we were inspired by the enthusiasm and curiosity of our guests. Attendees eagerly engaged with producers, explored unfamiliar regions, and even left thoughtful tasting reviews as they went—transforming the event into a truly communal discovery of wine.
