Specially selected and bottled for Inverarity Morton to showcase our partnership with Glen Scotia Distillery. Aged for 6 years. Distilled: 2017. Bottled: 2024. Opens with sweet treacle sponge and baked orange. Then there are honey-soaked raisins and fresh strawberries before ginger syrup and warming black pepper. Ending on drying walnut and lingering oak spices. The whisky is 6 years old and has been finished in a first fill Bordeaux Red Wine hogshead. Bottled at cask strength of 57.4%.

The maturation process adds layers of sweet vanilla and toffee and a slightly salty flavour to the whisky. The resulting product is a very high quality, robust and oily whisky, fully matured on site in their warehouses, just a stone’s throw away from Campbeltown Loch.

Award Winning Distillery

Twice in 2021 Glen Scotia was recognised for its whisky-making abilities, being named the ‘Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year’ at the Scottish Whisky Awards, just seven months after being crowned the ‘Best in Show’ at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their Glen Scotia 25-Year-Old expression. It is the first time any distillery has won both awards, let alone in the same year!
