Stephen Russell
Managing Director
After completing a Business Studies course at college, Stephen joined the company in February 1975 as Assistant Accountant. He switched from accountancy to buying In August 1976 after the company re-acquired Wm Morton Ltd and was promoted to Commercial Director five years later. In March 1999 he was appointed as joint Managing Director, before becoming Managing Director in 2005. Stephen set about growing the business organically and, later, by acquisition, taking the company turnover from £27.9 to over £70m.
Home is Newton Mearns and Stephen is married with two daughters.
