Blaxland Vineyards

Blaxland Vineyards Limited was formed in 1995 and over the next eight years developed a number of vineyards in order to supply premium grapes for most major Australian wine
companies. Blaxland now manages four vineyards in three of Australia’s prominent grape growing regions (Barossa, Adelaide Hills and Limestone Coast) totalling nearly 600 h ectares, with
both regional and varietal grape diversification covering 12 red and 5 white varieties. In 2019 they purchased Chocolate Box Wines from the Barossa to add to their already established range of
wines that they supplied all over the world. A winery with a grape to glass philosophy the group now holds some of the most sought after sites in the premium wine growing regions of Australia.

They have created that experience with their selection of wines from Chocolate Box and the wines have proved so popular that our customers keep on coming back for more. With vintage-inspired labels and eye-catching use of colour, Chocolate Box wines really stand out from the crowd and have fast become a very popular range of wines.

The Wines

Sparkling

Chocolate Box Semillon Sauvignon

(White Chocolate)

This wine is very pale in colour, but the aromas are anything but understated, zooming out in full floral, orangy Muscat

character. It is soft and sweet, balanced by citrussy acids on the finish.

Whites

CBhlaoncco/lSaetme iBloloxn Sauvignon

(Zesty Chocolate)

This wine is pale straw with light lemon sheen. It has a nose of fresh sweet peach, nectarine and melon. The refreshing palate gives an explosion of tingly fruit, and a well balanced acid and citrus fruit finish. Passionfruit and melon aromas with a refreshing, crisp citrus palate. A great partner to the other wines in the Chocolate Box range.

Reds

Chocolate Box Cabernet Sauvignon

(Truffle Chocolate)

Ripe blackcurrant is beautifully balanced with subtle vanilla, cassis and minty chocolate to leave a long rewarding finish.

Chocolate Box Grenache/Shiraz/Mataro (GSM) (Cherry Chocolate)
This blend of 36% Grenache, 34% Shiraz and 30% Mataro has savoury oak, dark cherries and stewed rhubarb which dominate the wine. The palate has spice and cinnamo revealing a delicious, lingering finish.

Chocolate Box Shiraz

(Dark Chocolate)

Strong aromas of coffee, chocolate, blackberries and spice fill the glass, supported with sweet vanilla oak. A long, silky, smooth finish awaits all...
